The new micro-coating – Spherical structure in the micro range

The Geoslide coatings from Topocrom® GmbH are applied in the form of thin-layer chrome plating. The specific property of this low-crack coating is the spherical structure in the micro range. The hardness of the coating is 950 - 1200 HV. Coating thicknesses of 2-10 μm can be deposit ed. The chrome plating processes are carried out in c losed reactor technology in temperature ranges of 50-60°C. Distortion of the component geometry

Wear protection

The coating offers excellent wear protection, especially under rollover loads.

Tribology / coefficient of friction

The special microsphere structure enables the formation of lubricant pockets. The surface also significantly reduces the coefficient of friction.

Adhesive strength

The bonding of the Topocrom® geoslide coating to the base material, due to its crystalline structure, is outstanding.

Corrosion protection

The low-crack Topocrom® geoslide coating provides the base material with lasting protection against chemical and mechanical corrosion processes.
